BGA Cafe is the vision of our founder and head chef.   Born and bred in Skewen, Al joined the the RAF at the age of 23 and trained to be a chef, he has a vast knowledge and experience which he has gained in his 20 years of cooking. He now wishes to bring his unique flare and style of cooking back to his home town. Skewen is such a marvellous place to live and now it is time to put back some well needed resources into the community and surrounding areas.  Lonlas Village Workshops has been the home to and the starting place for lots of local successful businesses for many years and after speaking to many of those working in the area they have all said how much they miss having a Cafe on site. A Social hub where they can meet with other workers, clients etc and enjoy fabulous food and drink in a social inviting environment. We are proud to be able to offer this service to the people of Skewen and the surrounding areas.

Our chef Al is passionate about giving back to the community and with the cost of living only going up ! He realises that not everyone can afford to eat out... but times have also changed and not everyone knows how to cook. So as part of the BGA franchise Al has launched a You tube channel which will do exactly that! Teach you how to prepare and cook  affordable meals with ingredients found at your local Aldi or Tesco ( other supermarkets are available) to feed you and your family.  Straight forward talking for straight forward cooking.
